Title: Ordering Gearbox Parts - MazdaTrix Equivalent?
Post by: Lacey on April 28, 2011, 03:39:00 AM
Looking for an equivalent to MazdaTrix as they only really like shipping within the US without a creepy amount of personal information.

This is what I need to do;

http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/shiftbsh.htm

So, I need to order the following....

(the following codes are used on MazdaTrix, I don\'t know if they\'re MazdaTrix\' own codes, or the actual product code, so I thought I\'d include them anyway.

79-95 (Upper)            17-481A-M508 (http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=17-481A-M508) (upper gear stick bushing)

84-95 (Lower)            17-4810-M501 (http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=17-4810-M501) (lower gear stick bushing)

I also need to order......

81-95 Inner Boot on shift lever
(Bolts to trans tower)
Comes              with new gasket            17-480A-M513 (http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=17-480A-M513)

Along with (if it\'s not included)

Gasket for above boot            17-4740-0303 (http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=17-4740-0303)

And if I can find them, the 3-piece set of outer boots.

(http://www.mazdatrix.com/Pictures/g-tra-di/ShiftBush6.jpg) (http://www.mazdatrix.com/pictures/faqpics/shiftbsh/shift18.jpg)

86-92 Middle Boot Kit
(3              pieces, bolts to chassis trans tunnel)            64-490B-FB01 (http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.asp?partnum=64-490B-FB01)

Any UK suppliers that aren\'t charging some idiotic price would be very much appreciated, all of the above (minus the 3-piece boots) comes to about $50, with the 3-piece boots it comes to $100, I\'m looking for it for about the same price from the UK new, or a fair bit cheaper in used but working order.

I need this stuff before I can actually drive the car, as it is the gearstick moves about far too much for me to feel I can safely select a gear without missing or going into the wrong gear, so this is stuff I actually need to get the FC back on the road. :/

Any help much appreciated, or if anybody has this stuff lying around I would be very grateful, and compensate. :)

Posted this in Technical rather than Wanted as I\'m more interested in ordering new parts but don\'t know where from, but am happy to consider spare / used parts depending on quality :)
