Title: fc turbo manifold
Post by: billybobbooth on April 20, 2011, 05:24:29 PM
hi quick question will a fd exhaust manifold (aftermarket) fit a fc 1989-1992 turbo engine?

Im more bothered about the exhaust ports and mounting holes as the waistguate pipe can be cut or moved.

Exhaust ports and mounting should AFAIK, but like you allude to, wastegate will most probably foul the subby as far as I\'m aware.

Yeah, from all the manifolds I have seen for FC and FD the bolt pattern is the same, everything is identical apart from the wastegate outlet, FCs seem to have a stubbier outlet like the one I have for sale:

And then the FD one has a slightly longer runner for its wastegate:

they will fit, engines are the same in that respect.  I used a stock FD HKS turbo manifold on my FC with no mods
