Got my bronze grids home today!:Thumbs-up But im not sure the back is going to fit in the arch? they are 18/9.5 with offset of 30. i dont have tyres on yet so dont know for sure but dont want to put tyres on incase they dont fit and then i cant put them back! the front ones has a offset of 35 and they look ok but i think the back might come into contact with the arch? is it easy to roll the arch??? or will they just fit? car is also quite low!:D
10J 35\'s sit just shy of flush.
what kind of wheel fitment are you going to be looking for?
with low profiles on you should be fine assuming you\'re not going silly low. You may need a slight roll, you wont need a flair though
Well it would be good to be able to lower it so the arch just covers the top of the tyre. the tyres are 265/35s. so if i can get away with putting a slight roll in the arch then whats the best way to do it?? The old alloys were the same size accept they were 9" wide with an offset of 35 and the arch was near but it was ok. So how much further does 30 take the alloy out from 35?
Tbh mate if you have the wheel with no tyre your best bet is to stick in on and a get a ruler out tonsee what\'s best. That way you can get the exact fitment you want
I would be happy to roll the arch if i know its going to fit. Just dont want to put the tyres on and then find out theres no way they are going to fit! So will 18/9.5 et30 with 265/35 tyres fit on the back with rolled arch??:Laugh
I\'d say yes. But really you should fit the wheel without the tyre to at least look.
I did put them on, but its hard to tell till when the car is jacked up. when its under suspension compression its different, the negative camber will tuck it in?
yup this is true. But if it will fit without the Negative camber then you know it will definitely fit. and you cant run a wider tyre than a tyre with no stretch
they are on with tyres now! and its close but they look nice tho!:Giggle arches are guna need a bit of a roll but should be ok. cheers for the help!
