Been mulling this over and have finally settled on a route so time to get something going. No doubt several have heard of similar things but I thought this would be a bit different.
Therefore I was thinking of doing the following:
Meet at the Birchanger Green Services at 0700 to set off for 0730;
Head to Haverhill on the B roads (B1055, B184, B1051 and a couple of others);
Follow the A143 to Bury St Edmunds;
Head towards Long Melford on the B1064
Pause at Long Melford for a bit
Continue to Stowmarket on the B1115
Stowmarket to Yoxford on the A1120
Yoxford to Dunwich on the B roads.
At Dunwich there\'s a tip-top Fish and Chip restaurant with a good car park and if we time this right we should arrive just as they\'ve started frying.
The roads are RX8 friendly (the pot holes are mostly on the other side of the road) as my coil-overed and lowered jobbie can cope with them nicely. There are minimal speed cameras and we shouldn\'t hit too much traffic. It should be a bit of fun.
Looks like a nice route, a few chances to get lost though...
Due to work/commitments I am going to change the date of this to 4th June!
