Title: rota offset?
Post by: brodierx7 on April 12, 2011, 06:30:17 PM
Im looking at getting a set of 18" rota grid drifts for my fd, but not sure what offset to get? 30? or 35? thats what the seller recomends? My rx7 is quite low, if that makes any diffference?

Depends on the width and if you are going to put the correct tyres on ! I run 9.5" front and back Et 35 frt snd Et 30 rear  255 frt 265 rear , even Roth this offset I had to trim the rear arches snd flatten the lip on the front wings . People say you cdn run Et 12 but only if you run stupid thin tyres and leave the wheel poking out . 18" 8.5 front option up to Et 20 will go ok ,

I have 10J et 35 or 38\'s on the front of mine at the minute and they\'re just shy of flush (sit inside the arch a bit.

Also have 9J\'s ET 12 on the back (dont ask) and they sit flush with the rear arch.

What tyres you run will depend on ride height and stretch.

The 10\'s have 225\'s on them and the 9\'s have 235\'s. both 45 profile
