Post by: FD3S Efini on March 30, 2011, 05:55:50 PM
Just on the look out for rebuild kits and need some help deciding

I have seen the Atkins Rotary ones

I have seen the mazda ones aswell but they are sooo expensive,

im using standard mazda tips and somewhere to get these would be good aswell,

what is everyones views on the kits above?

Cheers

Kris

i have used both kits in various engines for people but would always use genuine mazda parts in my own and would recommend it in others.

Check out Mazda rotary parts, they now do full kits, I would go with the Mazda OEM seals, they have gone through millions of pounds worth of testing, yes they are more expensive, but its not like you rebuilt it every week!

Yeah the kits are 1900 roughly and unfortunately that is a bit to much,

Regardless I\'m guna be using the stock Mazda tips

Would like to hear more about the Atkins kit to hear other people\'s experiences

Cheers

What you will find now is , that by the time you add on import duties etc it\'s nearly the same as Mazda , Clives/MRP
kit covers everything you need, you might aswell do it once and do it right.
