Post by: miked on March 26, 2011, 03:20:58 PM
Hi,
Glad to be back after a few years car 93 fd was off road due to a break I had .
Just got her ready to drive round to get rad re mounted and put windows up got the car back today windows dont move new battery was fitted also but thats it. Checked the fuse in engine bay its ok every thing else 100% any one ideas both sides dont work. One thing I did find was a window module in the foot well (cobra alarm) it has a hole burnt in it.
Thanks
Mike

Was any welding done on the car to get it back on the road?

Hi,
Yea the mounts had to be welded on to the car to hold the new rad.

take the door cards off and unplug the connection, and connect straight to a battery, will tell you if the windows are buggered but tbh i would say your windows are fine and be very supprised if both have given up.

I was just wondering about the welding as if it isn\'t done carefully sparks etc can burn through wiring
Title: Welds

Hi,
The welds were at the bottom only seems ok. Every thing else in the car seems fine. Just need the f100 box translation is there another fuse box in the car?
Do u think the window module is part of the alarm?

Thanks Mike
