HI all
Just a few pics now that the rex is finally in my hands
driving the ignis now feels like I\'m in the trooper

Looks absolutely lovely Gerry, so curvy. Seen a couple of wide-body RE-A 7\'s (like the one of Ben\'s site) but yours is without a doubt the nicest! Bet you\'re one happy bunny!
Any future plans bud? Methinks a CF bonnet would go very nicely with the package! :D
Dude the only thing I would change is the wheels.
The 17\'s dont do it justice.
19" chrome for full effect.
Russ.
Just playing.
 whoa! Captain Photoshop strikes again. Skills there Russ! :) Nice rims too...can\'t believe you even managed to reflect the calipers in the chrome of the wheel!
But i also like Gerry\'s ones, look very race-inspired, bit reminiscent of the...MS02, was it?
By the way Gerry, how\'s the rear wing in real life? I used to think they looked a little excessive, but after seeing yours i\'m having a re-think! Perhaps it\'s due to the body being wider also...
Anyway, congrats again bud. :)
And just keep playing, Russ! :D
Adrian
I met Gerry last night and had a good look around the car. Its wide!! the side skirts are about 5" wide each side!!
Really nice looking motor.
Gerry is offshore today, no idea for how long so he might not be able to answer your question for a couple of weeks Adrian.
IMO the spoiler really suits the car. Would look silly on mine but my car is stock, and Gerry\'s is far from it!
Cheers for the heads-up Steve! Mmm i agree. Offshore? Sounds exciting! I\'ll have to meet up with you guys when the magic day finally arrives, there\'s more FDs up here than i first thought!
So yours isn\'t the tasty number on your avatar? ;)
I think the feed bonnet thats on it suits it its quite subtle. 18 or 19 TE37s would look good but the roads where i am arent excatly smooth & it think the rubber band tyres would just make the ride unbearable over any distance. The wheels are OZ split rims not sure of the model. The rear wing isnt as huge as it seems but that could be because the body is wider. it almost used the stock wing mounts for the uprights & overall I dont think it would be wider than a standard one
Nice car gerry.
I see it for sale in Jap Performance mag, couple of months ago....looked really good in the advert, and looks better with your pics.
Nice one!
Dan!!
nice one matey, lets ave a look at the engine bay:D
I saw it in Jap performance after i\'d fully paid for it & thought theres 2 the same  then realised it was prob sent to the mag before it went on neweras website
Engine bay shots no probs but I\'m 100 miles away from car for a while so wont be till I come back
that is just so sweet
looks great :D
Not bad. It looks like a real sports car. I really like those wheels when the centers are polished/cleared. The chrome 19in wheels look like garbage.
Think both types of wheels look good...big chrome rims are awesome in appearance, but the 17" split-rims look more race-bred. I\'d be delighted with both!
Personal preference are the BBS-type multi-spoke 2-piece rims. But what do i know?! :D
I woundered which lucky B*stard was getting this one when my mate was picking his skybus up! Like the look of the Chromes on it to!! Have fun! :D
Engine Bay pic
RE-A dials & CF dash
CF door trim
Rear Cage
Thanks for them, Gerry. The dash looks amazing...must be a very special place to sit! Is the centre section also CF?
yup, mostly everything on drivers side is, door trim, dash around clocks, centre console & ac/stereo part of dash is genuine CF, not very flexable because of this thickness so doesnt sit perfect in some places
what widebody is that?
Its RE-Amemiya 1997 GT spec widebody

It would have been custom order and therefore very expensive,
Because it is listed as POA on the Website.
Russ.
Vey nice kit!
Agree with the wheel comments. The ones on it, make the car look abit dated.
Its no longer available russ, as I was searching for a price for a new bumper & was told the but RE-A they stopped making the kit a while back
Yes, I thought so,
But even back then they were custom order i think,
You dont see them on the street.
A lot of RE-A stuff does not meet JAF Japanese auto federation rules so it doesnt pass shaken, like my AD GT Kit,
Racing Use Only.
I had a two year shaken and I knew the car was leaving so it was cool. Just avoid detection and your ok.
I have seen a few street REA widebody cars lately but I dont know who organises or if they even have shaken.
I think you have a rare example there.
Your bar is different to the one in the pic.
I know there was an AD-R Facer front bar on display at Hirano Tire in Japan.
138000 with lights. Its older style so i dont think any one is interested. But It is like yours.
It was in the window for the Year I was going there.
here is the link. they have an english link page too.

Gerry loving the motor you will have to swing in past my work at checkpoint in aberdeen to let me have a closer look at it!! and discuss the wheels It looks good as it is but you not fancy a change? Got one of my work mates to do a bit of photoshopping with my wheels for a bit of fun!!
hi russ
