Title: 192 and 232ps?
Post by: B.Martin on March 21, 2011, 10:09:40 AM
What are the differences between the 2? Obviously the power, but anything else? And what is it that makes the difference in the power any ideas? Inlet or something simple like that or is it a lot more complicated?

Following this if it\'s not already answered by answering the first part, is it possible to \'upgrade\' a 192ps model to 231ps or better to just find a 231ps model?

Hi Ben,

Whilst it will be better to go for the 230 spec wise there is nothing to put you off the 192 as in practice we have found that both on the road and track that there is very little to choose beween the two performance wise

Hope this helps

as mentioned in the other thread

the ports are different (backed up by wiki). so not alot you can do to change. Also the 231 has a much higher redline :)

sayign that if you\'re on a tightish budget, i\'d suggest going for whatever you can get in the best conditon

Cheers for the help guys. It\'s a shame I\'m so picky but it has to be the 231ps if I even end up with an fe over the fd. All be clear in a few weeks I\'m sure!
