Hi all, i have recently bought a 1993 mazda rx7 twin turbo jap import, bought it non working. I have replaced the fuel pump, Fuel filter and the car didnt start, i replaced the spark plugs for 9\'s all round and the car started straight away. seemed to be ticking over ok, was a bit of white smoke coming out of the engine bay, turbo side. but car still revved and turns over fine.
Yesterday i left the engine on and the car slowly died, i was very low on petrol so i believe this was the problem.
Topped it up with fuel and car didnt start, deflooded it twice and the car then started again and was running well.
Today i started it to move it off the drive and then it died again, my car is on a slope and was low on fuel still, i took the fuel pump out to do a bit of maintenance and put back in, primed the pump and topped the car up with £15 of fuel in it, tried starting the car and no luck, tried deflooding the car 3 times and still no luck.
any advice on this problem would be very helpful.
the tips of the spark plugs wen removed were black, and so was the tip which the ht leads go on.
Cheers
tow start it
Unfortunately cant tow start as car is off road
erm well battery full charge, and connect another running car to your battery to give it max power and try again, leave the plugs out over night, put the plugs in oven cleaner tip down then heat them up in the oven before you try and start again...
as for the ht connector being black... that dont seem right to me... i would look at new leads...
Ok cheers for the advice. Do u think there could possibly ibe an air lock in the fuel system? Also just to double check what is the best method to deflood the vehicle?
Thanks again

whip out the EGI fuse and the leading plugs, turn her over for a few seconds, that\'ll push out any fuel that\'s lying in the housings.
