Does a s5 T2 vert and coupe have different diff\'s?
My fc3s and fc3c are from 89 and I drifted my vert yesterday but the back would\'nt lock.
You might find its an open diff, although you can fit the FD torsion internals into the FC housing :)
nearly all uk model FC diffs are open diffs, so wont lock, regardless of coupe or conv, very few FC\'s had LSD as standard
And even if it was an LSD I think it was a viscous sort, so nothing amazing
if you\'re planning on drifting it (seriously) i wouldn\'t bother with the fd torsen diff

You\'re right, they FD diffs do explode, like the FD gearboxes and drive shafts lol ^_^
2way kaaz it will be ;-)
clonk clonk clonk but great for drifting........
I took the fc up to Santa Pod on Saturdayfor the DWYB. Never done it before and thought it would be a laugh:rollin
Being a JDM FC TII thought I might struggle to get both wheels spinning, but in fact it didn\'t cause a problem at all.
Had a great time although I need a lot more practise:driving A guy there called Lex took in my car to show me what it could do and OMG what an awesome driver and car of course:chat
Anyone know why the LSD didn\'t cause a problem?

Me after a bit of tuition (Thanks Lex)
well if its got an LSD you\'ll be fine. Its NOT having an LSD that causes the problems.
Being a jap car, it could very well have a vlsd, someone may have put the fd lsd in there. Either way, doesn\'t look like an open diff at all!
