just wanted to thank everyone who helped me answer all those stupid questions of mine about the sva test, it passed on friday (after they made me fit some mesh in the front bumper :reallymad !)
thanks again....
dave
congrats dave well in there made up for you sorry i didnt find you if you were at rotorstock but hey enjoy your new motor
Well done. Now get the mesh off! It effects the air flow into the rad (well, depending on the size of it) .
the mesh is about 10mm square (the hole sixe that is lol)
i wasnt at rotorstock but look forward to meets to come.
but on the other hand mesh prevents breeze blocks, birds, elephants & things flying into rad etc which cant be good for air flow. I know those horrid thicks wired max power uns are stooping but a nice thin mesh cant be too bad.....

But there again the mesh on my other car stopped the dolly trailer wheel from a towed westy on the motorway from entering my engine bay at high speed
& the stuff i have actually has a slight up (if put on the wrong way up) or downfoce kinda angle to it so may improve my handling too

Just dont mention the fact it actually says (whispers

) maxpower on the packing (http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/contrib/corky/smilies25.gif)
Si (hangs head in shame

lol)
