Title: Intercooler
Post by: smithcg on March 04, 2011, 01:09:48 PM
Just wondering how people have mounted their intercoolers, taking into account the battery and the RAD

Ive seen people mount rads upright, and the intercooler infront
People lay the rad flat and do a FMIC
and somepeople send the IC pipes over round the bonnet catch of the chassis or out through the lights.

If possible could people post up some pics of how theyve mounted theres and how theve done there IC piping to give me some more info and can make a descission of what way i want to do it :)

Regardss :)

Chris

FEED by HKS front mount and FEED radiator stood upright, battery in the boot makes it a whole load easier to route the cold side pipework

^ This set up water injected and sprayed while punching out ~550bhp will give sub 45 deg C charge temp @ 8000rpm in top of 4th gear on a std ambient temp day, response is amazing too.
