Hi everyone,
I will be changing my rims at some point this year hopefully and have started to look around for some basic cheapish rims for my car, I can get some good 16" Rota Grid drifts for not much, but they are 16x8, would it be more cost effective to go for a 15" or a 17" rim as those are more common sizes etc for aftermarket alloys and will probably bring the cost of tyres down a bit.
What is the max width of rim/tyre for the FC without needing any bodywork adjustments etc, I am ok with spacers as I have a pair of 20mms on the rear at the moment etc.
What does everyone suggest? I was thinking banded steelies but they aren\'t cheap :(
Right, I have found some 15x8 or 15x10 steel rims, what tyres should I go with?
if you could fit 14\'s then these bad boys!

or these 15\'s 8j 12j :p

I can get 15x10 rims, but the offset is 0, so they won\'t clear stuff :( *sigh* might as well stick with my OEM 16s with 205 tyres lol
I ran 9j advans with a 35 offset on my stock bodied fc.
These were 17s, car was lowered, no rubbing, no stretch I reckon you could
Get away with 9.5 js with a similar offset. Also seeing as you\'re on
Stock springs squatting won\'t be a problem due to the camber that\'ll be induced. To be safe you might aswell roll your arches. I\'ve seen people run 10s with stretch so I don\'t see what the big issue is.
If you really want, I\'ll cad the rear end of your fc, you\'ll
Need to measure it though

Sorry to hijack but are these rims you\'ve actually seen for sale and if so how much to get them in my life?:InLove
They\'re Rota\'s new wheels, available from Driftworks shop (not sure when they are due for release though?)
If it were me, I\'d go with 16\'s on an FC. Although I dont think you can get Grid Drifts in 5x114, I think they\'re only available in 4x114
rota\'s new wheels? if you revering to the sakura cherry blossoms they are 100% original old school rims.
if not then my bad :)
captain, will pm you.
You may be right!!!
Very similr to Rotas new one though (what a surprise!)

Think they would look good on an AE86 or a Laurel but perhaps not an FC, plus I would need a 5 stud :P

R32 Skyline rims would be cool. 8J x 16 ET30
Yeah, they do look good, but I doubt they will be cheap both being R32 AND GTR lol

They\'ve ripped Cherry Blossoms? Is nothing sacred anymore?
R32GTR\'s can be had for around £200, and are awesome.
And produced with Spartan Air.
I will have a look out for them, saw a set of OEM Efini FD rims for £95 the set lol
I don\'t have £300 at the mo but:
