Time to sell my beloved FD. Have owned it for the last 7 years, but with a second baby on the way and about to move house, i just have nowhere to keep it. I know it\'s worth more money in bits, but thought i would put it on here for an unfinished project first. If i get little or no interest, i will break it unfortunatley :(
It\'s a 1992 jap spec Type R registered as a 1.3 on log book. Currently on SORN. Chassis has covered (will put a battery on the car and find out), but its around 70,000km. No Rust, never been in an accident, very clean underneath, never driven on salty roads.
Engine
Rebuilt with new Apex seals, Corner seals, Side seals, all new springs for associated seals. New rubber Seals througout including water seals. New gaskets throughout the engine, new spark plugs and ignition leads, new thermostat. Double throttle removed, All emissions crap removed, air pump removed, AC removed, AST removed, FC filler cap fitted, KOYO Aluminium rad, K&N twin filters. Stock turbo\'s with new vacume/water pipes throughout the engine. PowerFC with engine running at 320BHP from WGT performance (http://www.wgtautodevelopments.co.uk/)
SMB Stainless downpipe and silenced midpipe, WGT backbox. Exhaust is 100% stainless steel and isn\'t too loud. Clutch slips under heavy load (got a replacement one to go in), power fc has been reset to base map.
Engine has covered about 5000 miles since rebuilduing with the new parts. I went to the ring right after it was mapped at WGT, did 15 laps round that and drove it back home. Then went to the Isle of Man to a track day event over there. It didn\'t skip a beat the whole time.
Shortly after coming back from the isle of man, i lost my job and couldn\'t afford to run it. I was reluctant to sell on, so decided to keep. It\'s only covered about 150 miles in the last 3 years.
Bodywork Condition
Ideally needs a full respray, but could do very well with just a polish. laquer is peeling off the rear bumper, 99 spec spoiler fitted which has faded and has also revealed 2 spare holes in the bootlid which held the stock spoiler. Scuffed paint of the front splitter, and the original bonnet got damaged, so fitted a stock black bonnet. Both sides of the car are very good, roof is good as well as front bumper.

Sorry about the late replies guys, i forgot to subscribe to the thread and don\'t get on here much these days.
I\'ve managed to find a garage to store it in since putting the car for sale, and the money situation isn\'t as bad as before, so i\'m keeping it for now.

Hey mate would you be interested in swap with a Mazda RX8 Nordic Green 231 model new starter motor, new coils leads and plugs, not cheap crap, recently been seafoamed, new toyo cat back exhaust system, oil changed regularly and checked after every fuel top up premixed with motul. well looked after RX8.
