Still if you get lucky you can buy a whole car for that.
I bought a whole car last week for a lot less than this engine sold today.... but..... Elford turbo stuff doesn\'t come up very often so buyers need to seize the moment.
I like to collect Elford ornaments but it wasnt me.
Wonder where it will pop up ?

Well done Ian the main thing is that car has gone to a very good home, and most of it will live again in a Gen 1.

I did originally want that sound for it but no1 is willing to pay that for it even though so many people want them.
I have split it because I have sold it to a friend that has already got three gear boxes. So the box is there for anyone, any decent price and you can have it.
I would have loved to keep this engine for use in a mini, due to it being smaller I. Size it would have worked perfect, but I\'m going to be concentrating mainly on my rx4 which will be very interesting to drive with all the power it will have.:burnout
About £250 seems to be the going rate for them at the moment Grant.... times are hard!
What kind of car is your mate putting it into?
I\'ve spent the last 18 months researching Elford turbos and doing a conversion on my own car and in the process, have learnt tons about these cars.
If your mate needs any advice on the black box or how Elford wired these up or anything else to do with them, drop me a pm
