Few days ago I took out the old stock injectors on my TII. The bottom fuel seals are rock hard which is causing the leaking. I\'m going to put in two new Bosch 880cc into the secondary, but the stock bottom seals won\'t fit it.
So where can I get the proper bottom seals to fit the Bosch?
And anyplace to get the stock bottom seals from UK?
I read on rx7 club using silicone hose cut up will last longer, anyone tried that before?
Cheers :)
Louis
I don\'t think I\'d use silicon. Did the injectors not come with grommets?
Hi prof
From memory silicone only goes to 200C so it might melt lol.
No it only came with the top two seals. Not the bottom.

Not so much the heat - but there does tend to be oil / oil vapour which silicon does not like - it makes it go hard and brittle - exactly what you have already with the old rubber seals.
I\'d go with Viton or something similar.
Is the Bosch Injector a lot different in diameter on the pintle cap then, compared to the stock injectors ?
I got SARD 800cc injectors for mine, and they were the same dia as the old 550\'s, and they also came with upper o ring and lower grommet, although I ordered an injector seal kit anyway to renew the primary seals as well. If you have the fuel system out, you may want to fish out the Mixing plates that sit under the grommet - these have o rings on them that will also be rock hard - from memory it\'s 2 o rings each on one set and 1 o ring each on the other (can\'t remember which way round - primary/secondary) that was - but you need a total of 6 o rings to renew
Here\'s how the injector looks like. i guess the bottom seal will be sitting on the second step?
