Hi,
I have a 1992 red fd3s
I have no idea what model version it is, as the log book has nothing other than RX7 on it.
I think i read somewhere that only a type r has twin oil coolers? if this is correct then i think mine is a type r.
when i look into the front bumper, there is a cooler on the left opening, and a cooler behind the right opening. Are they both oiler coolers? and does this mean my car is a type r?
No, loads of them have twin oil coolers tbh dude.
People get really hung up on the whole \'Type R thing\' with FD\'s - it\'s not a Honda, Type R isn\'t the pinnacle of the range, it\'s a pretty \'normal\' model tbh.
Is it an import? If so, on the driver\'s door shut there should be a label that says what model the car is. But tbh it doesn\'t really matter - it\'s only really the likes of the RS, RZ etc that really have anything of note, the rest of them are pretty much just exterior/interior trim.
Here we go,
I know there are 15 plus different models of FD out there, have a read through this and see if you can match the info to your car
