What a beauty she is!
It looks so good in RED.
Those I think I was a home-made conversion.
Avatar made a conversione in America, and also another that I forgot, it\'s wroten in Matra\'s and Long\'s book. Also someone in Germany made this, almost 4/5years ago I found one on Ebay, a Mk.III red rebuild completely in RBG and original interior.
I check if I had the photo somewhere.
I found it on my hd :D November 2005 on Ebay.
I always hope to see it again online...

I remember now, that the rear lauggage box /rear hatch (I\'m sure it\'s the wrong name, but... Please sorry :D ) was took from a Mazda 626.

A Mazda 626,i was wondering how they did the boot lid.
I feel dirty saying this, but I think I prefer it as a coupe! I\'m a big soft-top fan, but cars not originally designed to be soft top, to me, often look a bit wrong at the back end some how. Cars designed to be soft top from day one kinda flow better behind the seats.
I\'m with Steve-I don\'t like it.

I agree in principle but the concept of this particular one looks brill to me so I would make an exception on this rex.
I agree i prefer Fb\'s with their tin tops.
I only posted this as it\'s been particulary well conceived & completed.
It dose\'nt look like a hash job.
Yep, that boot lid looks like the one on my Montrose. That is the best fb conversion I\'ve sern for years... I\'ll take it!
looks very cool
I think drophead 1st gens look good from the front but the rear view always lets them down... I\'ve never seen one that looks just right from the back

I still think this one looks neat but very americian in the reg plate area which tends to appear a little tacky
