I\'m Masato Miura living in Japan, who had been involved in Mazdaspeed of Tokyo as a Press Officer for 14 years.
In 1997, I established my own PR company and now I\'m running Mazda specialized motorsport website called as MZRacing.jp. This year is very special for us, because it is the 20th anniversary of Le Mans victory.
Please get me involved in your rotary fan society and share rotary related motorsport topics with us.
Please visit //www.mzracing.jp/en/
Best regards

Hiya, welcome to the club....any chance of using your influence to persuade MazdaSpeed to start making stuff for the RX-7 again :Thumbs-up? (Specifically 15th Anniversary Bumper light covers.....:D)
Your website\'s great for a nose about, though it\'s odd seeing Mr Amemiya without his frizzy hair
I agreee with Nik, your website is very cool and has some great history in it as well as up to date news :D

Welcome to Mazdarotaryclub and many thank you for the info and link.
We too have good Rotary racing history here in the UK and Europe,
You may already know that Tom Walkinshaw Racing developed RX-7\'s, with Win Percy in the driving seat winning the British Touring Car Championship in both 1980 and 1981, with Tom Walkinshaw himself also taking a win in the Spa 24 Hours.
From memory in 1981 RX-7\'s won 9 of the 11 rounds and the response was to effectively ban RX-7\'s in 83 by stating that to be eligible cars had to have a bodyshell in the model range with 4 doors!
Below are a couple of pictures I took at Brands Hatch back in 2003 when Toms car collection had to be auctioned off,
Ist car is a Spa car with a Group 2 car next and then one competing in the BTCC
Hope this gives you info and please dont be a stranger because some 10 years ago MRC was set up as a club to welcome Rotary fans from all around the world
Dude welcome to the MRC... you seem to live and work in car parts Mecca
Hi Clive
These photos are really really interesting. Are these cars still in use in UK?
If I have a chance to be in UK, I want to see them running on the track.
Please keep me posted
welcomeeeeeee Masato :D

I know the Group 2 car went off to Belgium but the other car is still active as far as I know,
There is going to be a pre 85 British Touring car seris this year and providing its allowed this car could well dominate this if the owner enters it,
I am told though that the new owner is a TWR fan though rather than a Rotary fan,
When I find time I will dig up some info I hae on this car while it was racing in the 80\'s,
Thank you, Clive
I\'m looking forward to seeing it.
Now I\'m heading to Daytona to cover 24 hours over the weekend. Please check MZracing.jp.
