Hi air pump removed, cat removed and air filter, I have got over 7% co and 2000 ppm hc and  just need to  get it down for the MOT, can I take off of the wire that goes from the coil to the rev counter I think it yellow with blue on the diagram ?
thanks Jim

Depends how well the input of your fuel computer is - signal wise that will have what you need, but the voltage spikes on that line may be quite large - check the manual for the fuel computer - make sure it can take a signal from there  (could be upto 400v spikes on the coil primary).

Your best bet is to install an air bleed valve on the lower inlet manifold, and thecadjyst the preset on the AFM, this will lean it out enough for an MOT.
