Welcome, you won\'t regret chopping in the S2000 for an FD. After owning a FD 3 years ago and regretting selling it, I went through many cars but none came close to a well running rex. I sold my 2005 S2000 and bought a 92 FD, had some fun already with the new car, but hand\'s down way more fun even though the roof doesn\'t drop.
Loads more torque low down (mine\'s still a twin turbo) which was my biggest frustration with the S2000, no power until 6000rpm. Don\'t get me wrong, the Honda was a fantastic car and goes like hell when thrashed, but the FD is more usable on the street without it getting silly and license losing :)
Look forward to meeting you at some of the meets

Wombat - after test driving the FD im planing on buying, i really fallen in love with the car :) owning my honda rite now is fun but it didnt feel as fun as driving the FD.

i do have some questions to ask about insurance as i have seen some ppl say that they insure it as classic? dont really get how it can? but im sure i can search around and i get some answers...
will pop out to meets when i pick up my FD.

Welcome to the club. :wave
Did you get your insurance sorted out? Some companies will insure these cars under a modern classic policy as they are over 10 years old and quite rare.
I believe you have to be over 25 years olds to get it an dwill be limited on milage you can do a year.

phill - i shall look out for you to in Mk.

Ada7 - im still searching for insurance and was thinking to put the car under modern classic policy but they said i need to have a Cat 2 system on the car to insure me so i thought i might aswell go to a Cat 1 system but im still in search to find someone who will do a good decent job. im over 25 years old so no problems on classic policy and its gonna be my 2nd car for the weekend so limited milage is okay.

anyone can advise me on someone who deals with Alarm that will issue me a cert for the insurance?
