Title: What Arches??
Post by: Wombat-007 on January 14, 2011, 05:51:14 PM
Hi All, finally managed to get a day off work for my wheels to be delivered as in the photo below. :D
The only problem is, now looking at them in the flesh, I don\'t think I can push myself to squeeze (skinny;) ) 235\'s on the front, but instead thinking of going with wider front arches and keep 255\'s all round or maybe 265 rear as will get the arches rolled.
Well, actually I blame Jit for giving me ideas LOL. Good to see you again, hope you\'re feeling better dude!

Is fitting wide fronts relatively easy (presume arch liners will need modding)? And any suggestions on the best looking ones to go for, was thinking of Feed maybe as in the pics below, bearing in mind my front end will need to stay standard for a while until my bank balance recovers from engine porting etc

Thanks guys

Phil

im running these on the front 25mm wider and have a larger opening at the back of them than stock to let air pressure out

If you want standard ish looking then Burnout are probably the best to go for :)

Deffo like the look of the Burnout kits, will need to re-plan my attack as will want to get the rear arches done at the same time with a total re-spray. Need to get saving :-0

Thanks for the advice guys
