I know this is gonna sound a bit odd, lol, but...
The clutch that I bought from u back in 2009 is just being fitted today (long wait i know lol)
However it isnt fitting. Was it definately from an fc?

are fc clutches any different throughout the range? ie egi against turbo II?

I think they\'re the same (although the release mechanism may vary slightly). What\'s not fitting? Sure you got the clutch plate the right way round? ;) (been there done that!)
Im not doing it unfortunately, got a local garage doing it (owners had a couple of fcs)
Just read the sale thread - did you get the flywheel as well? I know the flywheels *are* different between the EGI and the TII. In fact there were a multitude of different flywheels fitted to the FC - mostly varied in weight rather than size though.
Output spline is different from TII to EGi as well.
any easy way of sorting out the spline issue if thats what it is (vaguely remember the guy saying they need to count the number of splines to make sure they are the same)
Yeah got the flywheel aswell
Just had some details from them, apparently its been a struggle to get it lined up, but it is the correct one.
