Title: FEED Canards!?
Post by: Initial-D on June 03, 2004, 11:19:17 AM
I recently got hold of some Feed upper and lower CF canards for my Feed front nose, I was wandering what the law thought about these beauties? As there quite sharp and I could do a nice bit of leg chopping!

Cheers

We\'re wondering about Joels FEED CF side steps too...cant imagine they are that legal based upon their ability to slice thru flesh at speed!

WELL I\'VE FORKED OUT FOR EM SO I MIGHT ASWELL PUT EM\' ON AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS! Opps left my caps lock on!

Doesn\'t seem to be an issue in Japan and the US with some of the motors over there that I\'ve seen (in mags and vids anyway)!.

I think as far as the MOT goes, so long as you cannot get caught up on them your OK. This is why Jag stopped putting that silly thing on their bonnets.

They are about 10-15cm at their widest point but they aren\'t actully sticking outside the width of the car so much as they contour around from the front.

So you\'d have to chop then whack someone over the car, rather than a clean slice either side. (so to speak!):p

Not like blades protruding out from the hubs! That could be interesting at a meet!

I was also looking into having a large CF undertray that would protrude out the front and sides, though this would look really nice I feel it may restrict me to just track usage. Judging from the comments on canards I may wait and see what happens. I take it Feed don\'t list any warnings about the use of these items on the road? Or do they say all their products are for off road only?

Cheers
