Alright guys,
I\'ve got a 747 split rim that needs to be put back together, after having a good look round google, I got some good info, but I just want to run it past you lot first...

Questions are;
Where can I get new bolts (or should I bother)?
What style of sockets and what sizes do I need?
How do I keep the rubber beading in that shallow gully without it pinging out every time I try to move it?
What silicone sealant should I use and where?
If there\'s anything I may have missed, please tell me.
Chars!

Chars!
I am putting together my ssr proffesors at the mo so kinda know what your going thru, i did not replace the bolts just used threadlock on the threads.
I didnt need to use sealent either as mine did not require it.
I know a few of my friends who have put together split rims before and used the normal silicon you get from B&Q for bathrooms the clear version and not had a problem.
You got a pic of the rim i cant seem to find it?
shaQ
well, these aren\'t mine but the same wheels...

i think I would like to replace the bolts, and I\'ll silicone it anyway, even if it doesn\'t need it, just to make sure i dont get any air leaks...
the question now is, where do I get the bolts from and where do i get the special reverse star socket to grip the external bolts or should I just use mole grips? I don\'t particularly want to scratch up a brand new set of bolts, soooo, yeah.
if it is any help mate i just used normal sockets on them to undo them. how you getting on with the car, i am missing it?
thread revive!!! anyone know what the bolt rating is? I really don\'t want to have to take a wheel off, then undo a bolt just to find out what rating bolt needs to go through... M6/M7/M8 etc?
