Bowling the Aussies out for 98 at the MCG then surpassing their 1st innings score with our openers.  We\'ve got them by the balls and we\'re giving them a serious twist!

Ideal 2nd day, England run up 650, Strauss and Cook get double centuries, KP gets in for a solid century and a bit and we declare late afternoon and the bowlers get stuck into the Aussies closing out the day down 6 wickets with at least a 400 run chase to avoid an innings defeat.

I just love the way Jimmy performs.  He is the back bone of English bowling attack.  Love the way he has shut ponting up....  I just hope that the weather stays fine and ever single Aussie supporter leaves the stadium early comes tomorrow afternoon...

B*gger, two wickets gone.  Ah well, still getting out for 69 is better than getting out for 10 eh Ricky Ponting?

Awesome bowling display but some tragic batting, not what we expect from the Aussies. Without speaking too soon looks like we will regain the Ashes but hope we go on to draw or win the last game.

Ponting is seriously on the ropes, especially with his outburst today/last night.

England bat till lunchtime giving us 2.5 days to bowl them out, i dont think it will be as easy as the first time though.

Just watched the highlights!

Ponting was disgusting, questioning the umpires, both of them and then KP, the irony being his is more than happy to stand there in the last test when he gloved it, which he obviously knew.

I hate cheats!

Ponting\'s lost half his match fee for his hissy fit.  The Aussies are not very good at being on the back foot like they are at the moment.  I doubt Ponting\'s going to have the captaincy after this series.

After the recent England lows etc this is so enjoyable to watch, especially in the way they have fashioned their victories, all three wins being an innings defeat as mentioned and in the Aussies back yard! I am not sure it could have been any better!

Long may it continue and the team grows by bringing in new blood, really impressed with the selectors and the way they were happy to leave Finn out, not because he was bad but they felt he may tire, thats positivity we havent seen for ages.

Sorry to see Collie go, but its good to know it was his decision and we have people fighting for the place, not like years gone by where we would have struggled.

What a performance!  The three tests we won, England only batted for one innings.  We always won by an innings.  The England team had few holes in it, Collingwood was probably the only one who did not have at least one stand out performance and even then he was an effective fielder.  Fingers crossed this is the start of an era of English dominance of test cricket.

Another great thing for this England team is there are all quite young, Cook, Anderson, Tremlett, Broad, Finn, Morgan, Peterson etc

As i said before; Jimmy is a back bone of English Cricket team... that guy has skills.... In this last test how he got Clarke out in the secong innings was amazing; first few balls coming in and got him thinking that thats the line Jimmy will bowl next over,  but no, he got him out by out swing:D and to see Clarke depart the way he did:evillaugh:D:D

Matt Prior has also played best innings of his life with striking rate of a run a ball.:Thumbs-up
