Title: Top mount interooler removal
Post by: Adam fc on December 17, 2010, 10:44:07 PM
Hey all, in fitting my fmic ive removed the old top mount intercooler and ive been left with two lines which i have no idea what to do with.
I assume they need to be plummed into some sort of boost source?? Either way im stumped!
I would post pics up but my camera has died! Adam :)

Yeah they sit towards the rear left hand side of the interooler. One large one small.

Right. This is another question I asked Prof about. The one in the top pic is the AWS. Basically remove it and cap the hose that loops around to feed it from the inlet manifold. The second one is ASV. I just capped mine off. Prof has removed it all together and made a blanking plate for it on the back of the inlet manifold. Like below.

Awsome! Thanks as i was thinking i was going to have to get some nipples put into my new fmic tubing. Even less piping in the bay = Win! :)
