Hi i found a car i really like and may well be able to afford, now it has a silly mod which is nos which has been fitted profecionally but also has a r magic ecu, now are these tuneable at all, its also got a non sequential turbo mod, full decat/hks exhaust, standard air filter, standard intercooler and uprated fuel pressure regulator, it will hopefully also come with a years warrenty so is a bit of piece of mind and is a type r, i dont wanna put a link up just incase someone gets it before i can sort the money out lol.
NOS fitted professionally by who? Someone who knows rotaries? I personally wouldnt buy a NOS equipped rotary. R-Magic ECU isnt remappable so more than likely you\'ll be wanting to ditch it. Sounds a bit of an odd setup tbh - non seq with uprated fuelling but a standard intercooler? all sounds a bit hit and miss - but at the end of the day its your money. Still my view is unchanged - my very first FD was a total bow wow - Id pretty much bought it with the intention of fixing anything that was wrong with it but about 8k later it was still a pile of crap albeit with a very good engine and i ended up hating it.
Well apprently he says he got no history, no warrenty, its 2k cheaper than the others he selling, also says it runs so sweet it must of had a rebuild, me thinks I will walk from this, im glad im on here
You said a years warranty on your first post and now its no warranty? Im confuzzled! Why not go and look at the car and then make up your mind (obviusly when it stops snowing!)...based on the limited info you gave, i said I wouldnt buy it - doesnt mean you shouldnt - depends on what you want from an FD at the end of the day 0 if youre the sort of person who loves tinkering then go for it, if youre like me who is fed up with tinkering and wants a reliable FD to drive then maybe you should save up some more. Whilst there is such a thing as a bargain FD, they are few and far between! If its got a reasonably bomb proof warranty then surely youre covered...again i dont know if it does as you said in your first post it might do and then you said it doesnt :S
It sounds like a dog Will, walk on,
who would spend money on nos kits before a decent ecu or ic ?

Will, this belongs to one of our staff, you annoyed me with your idiotic "How long is the warranty question" when it clearly states it doesn\'t belong to me and would not come under my company warranty!!!!!!
If it were my car it would come with a warranty but please, who the hell can provided what you are looking for with what you want to pay?? If you have a gripe please speak with Kurt who actually owns the car, if you\'ve got a problem with me please come and discuss it with me personally not on a computer.
Oh crap sorry dave didn\'t realise it was connected in any way to you! For the record, the cars dave supplies look really good!

Jit, this is my point exactly! It\'s a cheap car but is advertised as a great track or drift car. I\'m also fed up with the unreliabilty factor of these cars and the fact that some customers think they\'ll last forever and a day even though they buy at the bottom of the ladder. Only last month i refused to send out an FD as i was concerned that the engine had just started to pressurise.........cost me well over £2k to sort it out........but this should now give many years of happy motoring!!
It\'s a decent little car but once again does not belong to my company :cheers. I\'ve already asked Will to go elsewhere as what he needs for his money i cannot supply :WaveBye
Dave.
