Title: RX8 Drive
Post by: les smith on November 28, 2010, 09:22:02 PM
Hi all

I have an 04 RX8  30,000 miles and it never moves for two week in a month due to my type of work. Will this be doing it any harm as I know the RX is not the type of car to not be getting a good revvv. Before I drive it should I be letting it tick over for 5min before I hit the road after two weeks.

Thanks for any driving tips.

Hi Les,

My own RX-8 stands for a couple of weeks at times and there\'s times when my RX-4 stands for a couple of months, neither have ever been a problem due to this so I can\'t see any problems for you.

Hope this helps

Thanks Clive

I have just heard that the engine could get dry and that I could get problems. I was also unsure of the best oil to us these days ???

Cheers
