Title: Oil cooler lines!
Post by: Adam fc on November 26, 2010, 11:09:12 PM
In my enthusiasm to take my oil cooler off ive forgotten which way round the cooler lines go on the oil cooler.

Im pretty sure the hot oil should come from the engine and go into the bottom inlet of the cooler and then out of the top outlet back into the sump??

This is how ive got it rigged up at the moment which is the oppostie to how i would have thought it should be routed but the hoses seem allot more comfortable.

With oil coolers it\'s not that important which way through it the oil flows.  In the case of the FC it flows in at the top and out at the bottom (source: Factory Service Manual).
