Hi George

Welcome!

Sounds like you\'ve got a serious car there, any pics of it?

Mine is still in the build, having a 1/2 bridge port 13b installed currently, plans to put a larger (maybe GT35/45) turbo and ECU, did you find the PFC was an easy fit as I can\'t find an FC compatable one.

cheers

Mark

Thanks sadgoth :)

At the moment I have only this pic (it is from last summer,OZ wheels and custom front are missing) but later in the month-probably around the end of June- I\'ll have more pics from the car as it is at the moment..
The Power FC is one of the parts I like the most..It\'s just plug and play..but in order to make it work in the FC you have to replace the following: the air temp sensor with an Apexi or FD one and the AFM with a map sensor, if you want, but you can keep the AFM, if you haven\'t upgraded the turbine.
I like my TO4B unit since it offers quick spooling and in low rpm.. and sometimes I think that I have the stock unit in terms of spooling...
If I change the turbine in the near future, I\'ll replace it with one from the GT series...

never being one to miss an opportunity..... Are you keeping the OEM wheels? If not, I\'d love them as they are much lighter than the coupe items! Not that i\'m a scavenger or anything!

these are not the OEM wheels..even though they look similar to the OEM ones..they are 8"x16" BBS wheels(limited edition). If you want I can take a closer photo of them in order to see them from another viewpoint..do you know the offset of your wheels?? If so, tell me that and I\'ll tell you if they can fit on your car since their offset is a bit high..
Ah, this is another pic I just found out where you see the difference with the OEM wheels.

not sure on the offset as the car is down in Dorest being worked on! I\'ll look into it. Were they the wheels that came with it, as I know that the conv had BBS items.

Also with the Apex\'i PFC, did you buy the FD version and the upgrades you have mentioned, or did you find a PFC for the FC?

The Conv. had 6.5" x 15" BBS wheels and my car in the photo has 8" x 16" BBS items. The style is the same to both wheels whereas mine have a light brown colour in the middle as you can see in the previous pic...I believe that next week the most I\'ll have a better and closer photo of my wheels :)
FD and FC don\'t use the same Power FC unit. Each unit has different maps inside. But, since the Power FC for the FC is only for domestic use in Japan, the unit doesn\'t work if you don\'t make the appropriate changes since the FC items have different polarities..ie. with the FC air temp sensor on, I was seeing -45 degrees Celcious(air temp), with the FD air temp sensor on, the air temp was 4 degrees..
Also, I forgot to mention that you must use a special adaptor between the Power FC unit and the stock harness..the pic below shows everything you need to change..:)

gyrpere123 thanks mate!
I always feel happy when I see members with black TII convs..:) :)
Where are you rebuilding it? Are you doing any porting to it?
I source all my parts from Japan because as you said it is a bit difficult to find someone that stocks 2nd gen parts...
Good news are that the OZ wheels came to Greece and hopefully next week I\'ll be able to post new pics with the new wheels on..and various pics of the car as it is at the moment..

looks very nice, what sort of power are you getting from that spec of engine. does the power affect the way it drives. Mark.  :cool

Thanks mate :)

I haven\'t taken the car on the dyno but my tuner is expecting around 370ps..
After all the final modifications I\'ll get it to the dyno in order to make sure.. :)
The stock suspension and clutch couldn\'t handle the power..I hope that I won\'t have that problems with the present setup..
I\'ll post my impresion after the final tuning...
fingers crossed....

Mark after testing the car with the present setup I can tell you the following: the cusco clutch set is awesome even though I can\'t get used to it..:D
The Tein system is awesome too and the car handles very well...It really makes a bigggggg difference compared to the stock system..:)
