I\'d rather go and throw myself in the canal than watch any reality tv cobblers.
Actually, Coach Trip is the best if all of them.
I come on here to ESCAPE reality TV shows so PLEASE NO
But John, this is the best reality tv show of all time!

well said,
i actually go to work on a sat and sun evening just to escape the crap factor and wollowing on ice
Cant stand most of them, but there are 2 shows that I do really like.
Americas next top model and The Ultimate Fighter.
All of the other ones are rubbish though.
Mark
Where is "the Contender" ??? thats number one, real blood and guts
There are some good American ones, and some truly awful ones!
Loving the new show Dan has created \'Celebrity come dance with me\' - is that a cross between Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Strictly Come Dancing? :D
Big Brother was the ultimate - gutted it\'s over. :(
How about a \'Greatest F1 drivers of all time\' thread?
WTF! There are no great reality TV shows  Every single one, without exception is utterly hateful dross designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator of anaesthetised British TV cabbage. I would literally rather chew my own legs off than watch a single second of any of them :2Mad

I see you in the crowd at the big brother final though Nik.....you was holding that sign "mazdarotaryclub 4 eva"

+1
Shocking dribble designed to numb the mind and give the average woman something to talk about other than shopping! No offence Anne!
The amount of comments i have seen on my facebook news page about xfactor is astounding, all from women! Its quite apparent the show isnt about vocal talent but media packages!
I feel the same about Soaps, a bunch of Northen or Londoners shouting at each other! :Hammer
I know how you feel guys - my other half is forever moaning and I guess after about four hours worth on a Sunday evening he does have a point (although he was laughing at Gillian McKeith last night).
It\'s not just us girlies however - I do look forward to AshC\'s running X-Factor commentary on Facebook each weekend. Priceless!
It\'s funny, the one thing you never see in soaps is people slobbing around in front of the telly. They may have frankly ludicrous plotlines and unbelievably bad stereotypical characterisation, but at least said characters do something with their lives, even if it\'s only being shltty to other unbelievably bad stereotypical characters.....whilst you sit there getting deep vein thrombosis watching fictious people living whilst the time of your lives trickles slowly away.......
Religion is no longer the opiate of the masses, it\'s the mind-numbing drivel drip fed into our skulls by the constant flicker of the Moron Machine on the wall

Im starting to get the impression that you don\'t like reality TV or soaps.... could be wrong though :)
The worst one I have had the misfortune of seeing whilst my wife was watching, was Tool Academy.
Utter garbage filled with the most annoying narcissistic americans you are ever likely to see.
X Factor.... Cher to WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p
What about Ben Dover\'s series of reality TV films lol??
Perhaps a little too "real"!
you missed out the apprentice....
TBH i hate the idea of reality tv, but I do watch coach trip, its pretty good imo
Without any form of personal offence, my view is the general populous who enjoy reality tv only do so because they have no life of their own, so enjoy watching other peoples, to be fair, "reality" is the wrong word for a lot of them, how many times have you known of random strangers to get locked in a house for how ever many weeks and have to perform tasks so they can get food! And lets face it, the only people who would want to subject themselves to that must be somewhat unhinged in the first place or desperate for some scrap of fame which leads me onto im a celebrity, most are far from being current celebrities or ones trying to kick start a dwindling career and bank account or some i have never even heard of! A laugh it might be for them, but again, you would have to be a bit odd to want to subject yourself to those challenges in the name of entertainment!
i think these shows started off with good intentions and instead became filled with weirdo\'s and generally unstable people,
this always makes me laugh though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzyznEewpio
battle royale? i think that was real.....

:Giggle i applied for one called \'bar wars\' a few years back. was located in the med somewhere and had to compete against another team. figured would be a nice summer holiday :Giggle
got through to the audition and that was it :Laugh
I just see it as light entertainment - something that doesn\'t require too much brain power and makes me laugh after a long day. It’s just a form of voyeurism, like people watching, or a chance to see celebrities doing stupid things.
It\'s not that I don\'t enjoy more intellectual stuff too - you just have to be in the right mood for it.
I do see the funny side â€" Peter Kay’s Britain’s got the Pop Factor… was genius. :chat

+1 for that. You can keep the rest I\'m in team Nik on that score.:D
I love this thread!
What about that other fighting one, im sure it\'s called "last man standing" that was good.
Im with the majority....reality tv is more like torture. :Giggle
