hi, i have a problem, maybe you rotor heads can help me out
i need advice on what i should do with my mazda 1986 rx7 series 4 non turbo....
ive already had turbo diff, flywheel clutch and gearbox installed....
all i need now is a turbo engine since the old one died
the old engine is a non turbo, so the turbo one should bolt right in...
what i need to know is what prices am i looking at for a rebuild or a whole new turbo engine intalled.... i need to know how to source one, wat to ask about when speaking to the mechanic, how i know its a good motor, need to know about the rotor housing, how do i check if its good....
basically what questions should i ask and how do i get it all done properly.... coz last time i got a turbo gearbox, diff, and flywheel , heavy duty clutch intalled i paid like 4000$ AU.... that was waaay too much, but i knew nothing about cars then.... but yeah, hopefully i wont get ripped off this time around with some help from u guys

so yeah im in the sydney area so if u have a good engine laying around or know anyone that does or even know someone that can help me that would be good, or some places that would import engines....

well i know of only two rotor mechanics in sydney that gaurantee thier work, which are pac performance and redline rotary.... pac wants 8000 for a turbo conversion top mount, with micro tech computer. boost gauge, controller and body work... and mild port, while redline rotary,, i dunno how much they will charge btw pack has a 7.5 second rotary... so i guess that means he knows what hes doin
