My first gen has the rats nest removed and now is running on 48 ida the car runs fine but it runs a bit lumpy at idle hence i have to keep the idle screwed up a bit i.e. 1500 rpm  i have also got a 565 holley carb  Been that the car has not been modifyed barring a different manifold and exhaust how would it run with this?

If you are happy with the IDA apart from the idle I\'d just take it to an old school tuner who\'s good with carbs and get it on the rollers so they can set it up for you properly. We had the same on an off road buggy-ran like a bag of spanners on an \'out the box\' performance carb-20 minutes in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing on the rollers and she was tuned a treat runs sweet as a nut.
