OK, here goes....
some of you might have already seen my post about putting a custom turbo setup on my FD, basicaly running a larger second turbo keeping the stock primary and sequential setup... but I\'ve had another idea! LOL
What has poped up in my head is this... basicaly keeping the stock twins, but have a FC single turbo coming online with the second turbo.... basicaly having a compound turbo setup on the second blower?!
What are your opinions on the idea? I know it will be a fair amount of work to get the pipework all sorted, but it would be totaly unique to my car! LOL or would I be better of keeping to my original idea of replacing the second turbo with the FC turbo??
All opinions welcome..
Jono
IIRC the cosmo has a turbo set up that uses a larger 2nd turbo, i might be talking complete balls but if i\'m correct you might want to look at the set up for ideas bud.
hahaha you been smoking crack, and how the feck are you going to make the exhaust manifold up to carry on driving the stock twins and also driving a third turbo??
then all the piping for the compound sytem, you will fill up the engine bay in no time at all.
So put down that big ganja joint and either fit Knightsport twins or a medium sized single for good low and top end power

Its balls haha
Smaller Turbos in RE, the 13b FD REW Twin Turbo pack has Hitachi 12s, 13b cosmo RE has Hitachi 10s
LOL, cheers Mark, I stand corrected
But the twin turbo pack in the "20B" twin turbo pack has the HT12 as the primary turbo and a HT18 secondary turbo, so you are partly correct.
Dont know if you can hack a 20B twin turbo pack and fit the turbos into the REW twin turbo pack is the question
Thats what I was thinking of, I knew something had different tubbys. Pah, i\'m a living genius!
Has anyone done supercharger & single turbo ? Although with a bit of porting the car won\'t lag the low down grunt !
Shaun
Carlos was doing a twin GT35 with a supercharger set up
That worked very well....it was clutched to stop the supercharger at 4000 rpm....running a big pulley!!
