Once upon a time, a genuinly nice but obviuosly dim guy joined a car forum, lets call him "silly billy" for now, Well Silly Billy was very excited about an upcoming purchase of a pretty little car.
Trouble was Silly Billy was so genuine, that many of the other people on the forum, lets call them "The doubting thomas\'s" for now, didnt believe he was a genuine person, they called him disingenuous and other disrespectful names,
and all because Silly billy, was unsure whether to keep the little car, or sell it on to someone who would really appreciate it as an enthusiast would.
The Thomas\'s, in a bitter, jealous, and angry rage, told Silly Billy to leave the forum and not come back, Some of the Thomas\'s that had earlier offered a false warm hand of friendship turned against Silly Billy, and guarded their forum with claws out, and shackles up, like they were the makers and rulers of the place.
Silly Billy relented, and went off sulking to finalise the purchase of his little car. Unfortunately when he made contact with the retired and rather wealthy but fragile lady owner, Silly Billy realised that one of The Thomas\'s had deceitfully tried to gazump Silly Billy. The lady owners response was that she had now had a change of heart, and was to keep the little car for her 12 year old grandson. And there the story ends. A new car sitting in the garage in its place, and the poor little Car sitting on the grass behind the garage for many years to come, out of sight, out of mind no doubt.
No longer to grace the archives of the Thomas\'s Forum.
Of course there are three morals to be learnt with this wee story
(1) To all genuine persons, "dont be a Silly Billy, and think that everyone will be like you, they wont be".
(2) To all Doubting Thomas\'s, on the MRC forum, "He who laughs last, laughs the longest" and I am certainly giggling.
(3) To the deceitful gazumper, well, " Ask your forebears where you went wrong"
Thank you for reading this little story.

I have only glanced over the few threads over last few weeks over this TMX car.
Both sides have been wrong in the way this was handled.
But Don, it was NOT your car yet. So your grammer is incorrect to use the word
hisIts only your car when you have ACTUALLY PAID for it and its in your possesion.
To sell a car no matter your good intentions when you dont actually own it yet is verrrry wrong in my mind, this is what estate agents do, and I Dislike estate agents.
So grow up and grow some morals

To be honest with the amount of bad feeling this car has caused its probably the best outcome
So grow up and grow some morals[/QUOTE
BB, Yes okay, should I follow your example, or that of the person who sneakily approached my seller, what do you recommend.

Mmmm, That is exactly the sort of language that usually will only be spoken in forum text, and not face to face I think.
Anyhow, Yes im quite pleased with the outcome I suppose, at least whoever approached the seller, also had a wasted journey. ha ha he he
Fducking brilliant, silly Billy doesn\'t cream a profit from a quick sale and an old lady seeks advice and doesn\'t get ripped off!
Bye bye
I think its not right to hold garages against each others. I would suggest that this matter should be sorted out amicably...We are individuals and we belong to different diverse backgrounds so lets keep it simple and arrange a meet to discuss this matter in a 3..4..5 or how many way meeting. I have learnt that we can only trust on our parents especially on our mothers apart from that plz have a minimum trust on others as it hurts a lot when its broken...goes for both parties..We all are a part of Rotary Community so lets have no partition here!!!
Lets meet up and thrash out adverse concerns
Hope the above helps
Regards
Syed
What makes you so happy? Didn\'t you just lose the car you had your heart set on? Perhaps it wasn\'t so loved after all, you must have led us astray? Surely not!?
Mate, you\'re like a lame duck at a chicken party.

How did you get gazzumped or however its said. How could someone find the details of the owner.puzzles me. Anyway onwards and upwards. perhaps they were reading how you were gonna make a profit n decided to make a bigger profit for themself.

What language did I use?, all I said grow some morals I did not swear or name call.
I will happy to repeat it to your face if you wish about growing Morals, I have no problem in that.
And that, ladies and gentlemen is where we draw the line.
I suggest that ALL parties forget it and move on.

Thanks,
