Title: Alloy Wheels Stamp
Post by: AMH on November 07, 2010, 01:15:05 PM
Hi - I hope someone can help me.

I was eBaying a set of OZ alloys and I measured the dimentions but then someone told me I had it wrong. So this is a photo of the stamp on them which I have been told means they are 16 x 7.5 - please can someone confirm if this is correct?

Thanks.

how can they say you were wrong when they can not / not seen the wheels?
dont forget the width, 7.5J is the length between the inside of the wheel where the tyres seals to the wheel, bead.

I measured them as 17" and listed them as that. Someone then asked for the ET number (the offset) and what information was cast on the wheels - when I told him he said I had the size wrong so I ended the auction as I wanted to check.

Thanks for the advice - I\'ll relist them as 16" and include a photo of the stamp this time. :o
