Just posted interest in attending this special meeting next July. Anybody else considering this?

Hmmm It\'s a long time off to commit now Cliff. Plus I think it\'s t\'other side of the known world? \'Here be dragons\' is what my map shows.
I might if I pull my finger out....thats not a millions miles away from me.

I concur Dave, this is currently just to make a note of the date - it is a special meeting which cannot be repeated. What are we, 7 months out (thats about 34 weeks I think), even I\'m not certain but I\'ll show an interest. I\'m going to be busy if we do go \'cause we\'d possibly take both S2\'s if I can complete Goldie in time, that means I have to finish the 2nd Gen quickly but haven\'t even started it yet.

Not a million for me either but still a few hundred I would have thought - still I think it could be worth it.
For all you Formula 1 fans out there - I know the FIA have announced the 2011 season programme this week and in particular the British GP is the 10th July - don\'t let this deter you guys pertaining showing up for this special meeting a Bealieu. There\'s such pieces of electronic equipment called DVD recorders etc so you wont miss any of the action for the F1 GP but if you don\'t attend this meet you\'ll miss everything and this cannot be recorded and played back later. Just think of the photo opportunities available to us, we could even arrange for a convoy to travel down together?
Come on guys, its been said before about attending so let\'s put away the pipes and slippers and make a go for it !

Hi
If you look at the club calender of events you will see that we have already got these event schedule in to attend next year, see here:-
http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2011-7-9&e=159&c=1
We have been invited to attend this event by the organisers of Mazda MX-5OC as they would like as many Mazda\'s to attend they even came to this year\'s Brooklands meet to invite us.
Nearer the time I will post up more details.

Sorry! - been away and reading the posts all in the wrong order:D
It would be good to have a great 1st Gen turnout, lets see how many we can get to attend this event.
You might want to have a look here http://www.mx5beaulieu.co.uk/ main day appears to be the Sunday.

If other forum members are up for this one off occasion/meeting, we could arrange to have \'pick up locations\' so that we could travel in convoy as we came down the country! What a sight that would be guys. This occasion would also be considered as a mini break rather than a day trip.:mmmm:mmmm:mmmm
3 number 1st Gens have registered an interest in this meet - 1 Red & 2 Gold\'uns oh (nearly forgot) and a White one too, so potentially 4 1st Gens attending up to now.
:mmmm
Hopefully I\'ll persuade Pete to come down in the FB we are building. Should be a fun day out :)

Its ok....Ive travelled from Yorkshire down to that neck of the woods.....and the dragons have all been slayed! Just watch out when you pass Nottingham though for a mean old Sheriff ;)
If pete goes,we won\'t be able to keep up!

It would be great to get a whole bunch of us there!

Still in the diary for a good think about in the spring.
Big clash with the British GP which my dear eldest child might insist we go to with her. Funnily enough we\'ve missed the Brooklands meet a couple of times due to the Turkish GP which we like to go to. :Hammer
I quite fancy it but it\'s too far off for me to commit to it at the moment.... I\'ll see nearer the time.
I will go, along with a couple of friends in their MX5s, assuming it doesn\'t clash with any other major event (I know about the GP - I\'ll Sky+ that :) )
I realise it\'s a fair time off but if it\'s broken down to weeks - approximately 34, it doesn\'t sound that much. All I ask is everybody to think about it and if possible lets turn out in force.
:):):)
last time i went to there i was disappointed to see not one rotary, not even a motorbike. but it is 90% british stuff there i suppose!
If I can get Rexanne on the road in time, which i should damn well hope I can, I\'ll be there.
At the end of this summer I decided I should really make an effort to go out to more car events in 2011 :)
