Hi guys im new to the forum.

I recently purchased a Black FD3S, maybe its been on the forum before?

really happy with it. Goes like stink compared to my previous cars.

Hiya, welcome to the forum and all that. Don\'t recognise the car myself, but it looks good. Are those Enkei wheels? And maybe a Rocket Dancer front splitter overlay?

You probably want to look at getting that "floating" intercooler ducted in a bit though

Yeah mate they are Enkei wheels, unsure bout the make of the splitter.

What do you mean bout the intercooler?

Normally there\'s a two-piece plastic duct that picks up air from the bumper intake and shoots it through the intercooler and diverts some to the airbox. The top section is often removed if aftermarket filters are fitted, like yours, but you still really need the bottom part that takes air to the intercooler. It\'s hard to tell from the pic but it looks like yours is missing, maybe I\'m wrong, the angle of the pic maybe misleading

You can see the duct I\'m on about just here ^^^^^ (it\'s still got a gaping hole where the top bit\'s been removed)

That IC you linked to is probably that cheap cos it\'s like a Chinese or something knock-off that\'s gonna be really badly made and cause a horrible restriction to gasflow

Got a bit of a prob, the coolant temp gauge hardly moves and the car limits t 5,000rpm? :-(

Put up a spec list to assist in finding your probs mate,

Coolant could be:

gauge is useless
System needs bleeding
New thermostat required (most likely imo)
sensor fduked
water seals (unlikely but if your coolant buzzer starts going off
a lot then nightmare)

Also what happens at 5k rpm is it violent jolt (fuel cut(too much boost))?? or can you hear a limiter? or does the rpm still rise but as if the turbos have gone on holiday???
