Title: Electric fans
Post by: Adam fc on October 26, 2010, 11:54:37 PM
Hey! Im currently looking for an electric fan setup for my fc3s tII.

Im looking to fit a thicker rad and ive heard that for effective cooling i need to source a fan with the ability to pull 2500cfm.

I found this site which states u need 2500cfm as a minimum?

http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/efaninstall.htm

Ive found various \'\'16\'\' inch fan kits availiable but none that can pull 2500cm.

Anyone know of any suitable kits availiable?? Thanks Adam;)

Not a direct fit but with very little modification a electric fan & cowling out of a Merc C180, its massive & does the job nicely, pulls .... loads of air & you can feel the car shake from its draw but couldn\'t tell you what amount of air its does really pull!! Well worth doing & got both the fan & cowling from my local scrappy for £20 so bargain!!
