1st thing comp test it. you may save the cost of a rotor and housing if a tip has chipped but not broken off

Welcome to the rotary world...Any problem with the engine,,,everyone would suggest "Check the Tip" or compression...Dont worry she will be fine.... I seriously hope that its not a tip,,,but normally what you said does suggest the worst!!! But we all are presuming..contact Jason at Super7 or Pip at WGT...both of them are rotary gurus..

Does sounds like its thrown a tip which utterly sucks. Hope its something less major id start with plugs\\leads and coil packs but if it runs fine at high revs odds are it wont be plugs more so the leads are poor.

Hey pete get a compression test done. If in doubt an all. Think clive posted a guide how to doing it with a gauge. However i would recommend using a mazda tool if you can wait/find someone.

Yeah only going on an experience i had where my engine run lumpy.  tip had chipped/cracked a bit had fallen off. I drove it another 30 miles and it went properly taking out the rotor and housing in a big way. if id have sorted it earlier maybe the rotor and housing coudl have been salvaged.

your right tho it sounds like its gone tubby bye bye.

check the comp tho.:Thumbs-up

If I was you, I would buy OME Apex Seals. I have seen cars pushing some big power with those seals. Don\'t buy uprated Apex or Side seals. In my opinion you would waste your money...when it comes to detonation literally every seal let go...someone would suggest Aviation (Black Seals) and someone would suggest Ceramic Seals...but believe me you are better off with Mazda OME Apex Seals, corner Seals and side seals..they are cheap and reliable as other uprated seals...

Pete where do you live???
Hope the information helps

If you want to do it yourself, i\'d highly recommend pulling and sitting the engine yourself, and taking it to Mick at Hurley Rotary in cov for him to check it over, he\'s a sound bloke and only just down the road from you :)
