hello all ,just bought a single turbo for my 1994 twin turbo.
whats involved in fitting this.i will uprait the fueling get it mapped i just wanted to know about the birds nest and solinoids cheers
There is a ton of work to do it neatly, just depends how fussy you are.... :Thumbs-up
This definitely feels like a \'search\' response is justified...
But, in the interest of being reasonably helpful:
Figure out how to plumb it in (manifold right size and shape to make turbo fit, downpipe to mate with midpipe, outlet to mate with your intercooler)
Sort out turbo cooling (oil lines- probably need to blank one of them on the block)
Sort out charge air cooling (Standard SMIC won\'t cut it!)
Sort out fuelling (FPR at the minimum, ideally larger injectors, bigger pump)
Sort out boost control (wastegate, boost controller)
And a remap (assuming you already have a PFC?)

plumb it in i have the turbo ,manifold,oil pipe ,external waste gate and down pipe
i am sorting out a front mounted intercooler
fueling will be getting better pump and injectors
i have a boast controller
and will be getting a ecu
i just wanted to know what to take off the standard twin turbo engine eg rats nest ,air pump what else cheers
