Title: Air filter: still good or need a new one?
Post by: soldave on October 15, 2010, 02:49:37 PM
What do you reckon?  Taking a look at my Apexi Power intake this evening and it\'s probably seen a few better days.  Wondering if its still ok and just got normal use on it, or whether it\'s gonna be strangling my car a bit and needs replacing.  Have got an idea myself but wondering what you folks think.

Give it a good hoover first, then clean followed by a good check for any small holes maybe with a torch inside?

Apparently, they aren\'t . At least, that\'s what Apexi say. Recommend that you only blow the grime off with an airline (from the inside, obviously), you\'re not supposed to wash them

I stand corrected in my orthopaedic shoes :Giggle

Must admit the missus hoovers hers, and mine is still in the box waiting for my hotwire mod.
