Title: C-West Sleeks with HIDs?
Post by: paul3944 on October 14, 2010, 08:03:14 AM
After a bit of Info.

Looking at some of the Sleek light options available, and I like the look of the C-West sleeks.

Done a bit of research and it appears the CATZ lights are really Fog lights and are not that great anyway.

Has anyone managed to fit HIDs to these, RX7Club mentions Hella 90mm projectors but I cant see how you would fit these without Major fabrication.

Regards,
Paul

Hi Feed Addict,

can you tell me what brand/model your projectors are? I also would like to fit new projectors to my sleeks.

regards
Marcel

Paul/Marcel,

The lights are Hella (single beam pattern) they are the small version (75mm springs to mind but not sure) I have a PDF that was sent to me somewhere that gives dimensions (I will hunt it down for you and attach it here).

Got them from here sometime ago (a little bit cheaper):-
http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/prod/premium_headlight.html

Must have been the single dipped beam version!

I will look for the PDF for you later!

Like i say you just need to make the bracket to suit then, nice and simple (I bent a bit of 2.5mm ally once all the holes where done, but it can be done in anything and welded etc, and they can be adjusted correctly too).

I hope thats of some help for now!

Gary

If you click the link in your sig whilst your already in your build thread, do you end up in some wierd Mobius loop of time/space where you just keep going down through layer after layer of non-Euclidean fractal levels of the same thread every time you click on it? I wanted to try it but I was too scared in case I couldn\'t get back out again :o
