Title: Gauges oil pressure wont read
Post by: Koose on September 30, 2010, 07:35:10 PM
Hi folks

I have an electric oil pressure gauge with one of those egg shaped senders. Ive hooked it all up, but the gauge wont read any pressure, whilst the teeny oem gauge says 35-40 .

Any ideas - Swash Saga gauges.

what is the sender going in to? does it need a good earth? I had trouble with a cheap electrical oil pressure gauge, I think it was due to not getting a decent earth from the sandwich plate. I ended up chucking the thing and running a mechanical gauge. That worked. And didnt do some stupid beeping and dancing routine every time I started up. much better!
