Basically it is the mazda parts EPC catalogue software, which has all models from 1984 onwards, contains prices, part numbers etc etc. Just wondering if anyone has had one and if it worked properly?. If so then it would definitely be worth a purchase:bandit

Got bored so have bought it anyway, lol. Just hope it works now:rolleyes: ;)
Cheers, Paul:)
Yep, bought it and it works great!
Works like a charm for me, saves the dealer being a pain and always asking for a registration or chassis number.
let you know when mine arrives
Ok thanks guys:D Glad I haven\'t just bought a load of blank cd\'s:rolleyes: ;)
Cheers, Paul:)
I presume it only gives you UK part #\'s?
I get the impression that it only gives UK part numbers.
Aren\'t they all the same? There\'s no Jap specific parts if that\'s what you\'re after. Also no RX-7 parts after 94. The RX-8 is on there though.
Did the ad say RX8, hope Ive bought the same one as you then.
Yep, it did Gary. It\'s very, very handy. No more price surprises at the Mazda dealers!
Paul i got sum stella here with your name on it

Part numbers for FD are different for US, Europe and Japan. No RX7 after 94 = not for imports presumably; that doesnt cover any 16-bit cars for e.g.
but when we order for our jap imports we use uk numbers dont we? and the only dif on the 16 bit was the 16 bit?
And I guess its better than nothing, for a tener.

Ok no problems Si, I\'l be having those stellas on Sunday evening then:bandit :cool :rollin
And yeah I\'m pretty sure that all the part numbers are the same, well the parts are the same so the numbers that you get from the software will directly relate to the only software the mazda parts place will have. I\'d definitely think that they won\'t have the jap software. Baring a few bits from the newer jdm model changes i.e. round light clusters, 99spec gauges, which incidently was available to hand from Gordon Lamb in Notts as they quoted Faheem £495 for the 99 spec instrument binacle this morning, lol

Generally order from japan due to price and knowledge so jdm numbers are helpful. Not saying not useful, quite opposite - I\'m getting a copy.
As for 8/16bit diffs, y-pipes, ratsnest, int and ext trim bits, body panels etc and the bits off the spirit r\'s :) Granted, most bits people want will be <94 items. But not all for sure.
i was looking at that aswell - if someone could /cough/ do me a copy /cough/ i would much appreciate it :)

That\'s funny, the numbers on this match the numbers from the US manual I used for my rebuild and the jap parts list I\'ve got.
Where do you get one of these CD\'s from, they sound like a good purchase, also how much are they?
Check my first post at the start of the thread, the link is there and the price is £10 plus £2.5o postage.
Cheers, Paul
