Title: Help!..
Post by: BlueAdept on May 27, 2004, 03:15:10 PM
I seem to have a fault with the rear suspention on my RX8... one side is somwhat lower than the other... Up to an inch when measured.

I\'ve taken it to the dealer, who told me that there\'s nothing wrong with it, and everything is within specs... although I can say that the wheelnut key doesn\'t appear to have been used... so if they even removed the wheel to investigate I doubt!

Anyone suggest how to check what the problem is... (It\'s intermittent apparently)...  and how to get some joy out of the dealer?

These were taken of opposite sides of the car, while parked on a flat surface.

I\'d be inclined to take it into a decent wheel alignment place and ask their opinion - if they can tell you exactly what\'s wrong you can go into the dealer and ask directly to have that fixed!

Yeah... that\'s good advice...   Would you suggest anyone you trust?

I\'ve since stripped the suspension and rebuilt it...  having found no problem, and measured all the alignments... seems OK now... so I\'ll keep an eye on it.... somone pointed out that I always turn right onto my drive,,, and ALSO turn right into the dealership... so perhaps somthing wasn\'t settling... before I got a chance to check it...
