Title: Oil jet Mod on eccentric shaft
Post by: Adam on May 27, 2004, 01:20:37 PM
Been watching the rebuild video while waiting for my mods to be done by Pip at WGT.  In the modifications section he mods the oil Jets ???? on the eccentric shaft.  He takes out the spring and ball bearing and sticks some 200 webber jets in there.....  Has anyone done this mod or similar and is it worth doing....

Cheers

Adam

This should only be done on an engine for racing really cos the oil pressure can be quite low at low revs affecting the bearings and also the amount of oil going into the rotors maybe too much and also cause quite a bit of smokieness at low revs.
Kind regards
