Very nice indeed:cool Did you do any porting while the engine was out? and what bits inside the engine did you have to replace?

Am in the process of rebuilding one at this very moment, so am very interested in what other people who have done it have to say:D And is the beast running yet?

Cheers, Paul:)

Hi Paul,
Yes the beast started 1st time, and i gave it a little test drive down my street and back last night (worked fine if a bit loud).
Have done no extra porting on the engine, just a changed the apex seals (got new 3mm ones from Hurley Eng) and replaced all seals. I also had to buy another rotor housing as one was a little stratched.  Any more questions I\'ll try to help as much as I can.

What turbo is it? looks quite big - why no porting then?

Good good, that\'s what I like to hear:D For the 3mm apex seals did you have to have the rotors electron eroded out 1mm to accommodate?

So are you planing on coming to Rotorstock???? I\'ll be setting off on Sunday evening if all goes to plan, maybe we could convoy down together?. Gurj is another member who may be joining the convoy from the Derby area.

Cheers, Paul:cool

Hi Rich
Wanted to keep engine as it was really as I wasn\'t really clued up on porting techniques.  It was my first build after all.
Turbo details were a bit sketchy of my mate in Thailand, but he did give me everything you saw in the turbo picture for £500, so I didnt really mind.

Paul,
the rotors were already ground out the extra 1mm as it was running 3mm seals before the build.
I would love to go to rotorstock but the 7 wont be taxed or MOT\'d and I also have to work the weekind (how annoying is that!).
